Fiduciary Trust Company is seeking a Financial Planner to work as a member of the Financial Planning Team. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 year’s experience in financial services, with direct client contact desired.
Analyze client financial data and prepare customized financial plans.
Assist in the gathering of client data.
Deliver financial plans to clients when requested to do so by Director of Financial Planning or Senior Financial Planner.
Stay current on current thinking on planning topics.
Assist in family office assignments as needed.
Other tasks and topics as desired.
CFP designation or working towards CFP designation.
Understanding or interest in goals based planning.
Proficiency in MoneyGuidePro, Excel, NumberCruncher, Visio, and other financial planning related software.
Superior attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication (oral and written) skills.
Strong interpersonal skills. Energetic and collaborative working style. Enthusiasm for delivering client-centric, tailored financial plans with ability to “read” clients to optimize communication. Proven listener.
Positive attitude. Flexible thinker.
Experience in analyzing and understanding trust terms a plus.
