Reporting to the Director of Accounts & Analytics, the Senior Staff Accountant is a key member of the Student Accounting Services team and maintains a lead role in the activity analysis and reconciliation in Boston University's cash, liability, student receivable, and clearing accounts, totaling more than $2B. Major duties of this position include:Responsible for general ledger clearing accounts and student receivable reconciliations and audit requests using Excel, third party reporting tools, and the SAP Business WarehouseIdentifies business process improvements and/or system enhancements that can reduce uncleared/unmatched items and improve data quality and reporting
